Download and install ClipGrab from ClipGrab. ClipGrab is a free and open source program available for Mac, Windows and Linux.

Copy the URL of the YouTube video you would like to download.

Paste the URL into the ClipGrab window.

Select the format and quality you want to use (e.g. MPEG4 and HD 1080p).

Click on the “Grab this Clip!” button to start the download.

Open a Youtube Video page and copy the HTML source (not the URL) of that page.
- Right click on the page of the YouTube video.
- Click View Page Source. A new window will open up with the page source on it.
- Highlight and copy all of the text on that page.

Tips
- Be patient! Even a one minute video may take two to three minutes. A computer with a good connection and plenty of space should run at a good pace though.
- If you need lots of videos, you can run multiple downloads at the same time. Just be forewarned that this will slow down each conversion.
- Finding a music video and downloading it as a .mp3 will result in music file. The music may also not be the best quality because it’s from a video, not a CD.
